Lovely Concert

Friend Day was a great success, despite our lower-than-desired numbers. Despite overwhelming odds of having thunderstorms, everyone prayed, and only a few drops of rain fell between church and the concert.

We set up indoors in the room with the wonderful acoustics, and Rick made the band sound great! The program didn't run until 5 PM, the way we'd planned, but it was a wonderful time, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Friend Day is Coming!

Friend Day is coming at Bluff Avenue Baptist Church, and we'd love for you to be a part of it. If you're in the Greater Fort Smith area of Arkansas and Oklahoma, plan to join us at 2300 Bluff Avenue. Sunday School starts at 9 AM, and the fun will last all day long! After the church service, we're all going down to the Fort Smith River Park at 121 Clayton Expressway. Starting at 1 PM, we're going to have music by Bailey Hill Revival, including two solos by me. Lunch is free. We have both the buildings rented, so even if it rains, we're covered! We also have the Concord Baptist Association's "bounce around" for the kids, plus games. This really is going to be a special event, so if you're in Arklahoma in the River Valley, please plan to come. We'd love to see you!

A Long Time Since the Last Blog Entry...

And with good cause. I've been really busy writing, taking care of Mom after she fell & broke her hand, and in general playing as often as I can with Bailey Hill Revival. I'm still working on the album, but winter is passing quickly. I hope to have songs available online soon, aside from the ones already available through my Broadjam page. I have signed up with Snocap, and will have songs available on all my sites, including this one, very soon, God willing.
